Board games

In a distracted world, sitting around a table with friends has become almost radical.

✨ Brightest Stars in Dark Times ✨

A board.
A handful of letters.
A bit of competition.
But that’s not why I love board games.

I love them because we sit together.
No scrolling.
No multitasking.
No parallel conversations.
Just faces across a table.

Laughter over bad moves.
Silence while someone thinks.
Yes, there is competition.
But it is gentle.
It is playful.

Winning is secondary.
Being present is the point.
In a world that accelerates everything,
board games slow us down.
They create small rituals of attention.
And maybe that, too, is a form of care.
