Silas was a young sparrow. 

He was clever, his feathers shimmered in the morning light, and everyone who knew him thought he had a bright future. 

Yet every evening, as the sun disappeared behind the forest, a strange sadness settled inside him. 

But what made him more anxious was that he did not know why.
